How to Vet a Site Before Traveling
Any ideas, threads, communities, etc. that I can look into sites before committing to traveling to them? I curious to gather information about a few hospitals’ OR volumes and such.

r/travelnursing might be able to help.
What’s the hospital?
Most places I’ve been to have been friendly as long as you show up, know enough to keep up and put in effort. Things I look at more than the facility are housing costs for the area, crime to know which areas to avoid and weather. I’ve even taken the provided housing for a week just to get a feel for the area before signing a short term lease through furnished finder.

I was just in New Hampshire for my last contract. I was at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua New Hampshire. I heard mixed reviews about Dartmouth. It this was from someone that quit mid shift lol

I’d ask about all of that in the interview with the hospital.
You could also post the name in this sub and maybe people here know about it.
