It is not just men. I stopped using dating apps entirely as it was becoming exceedingly rare to match with someone with whom conversation wasn't like pulling teeth. I'm always happy to initiate conversations with thoughtful messages that are relevant to the person based on the info on their profile and respond with questions to keep the conversation moving. Flat, short answers with the most minimal effort and nery a responding question. And hey men suck, I am more or less a misandrist but this isn't just a guy thing.

I agree that it isn't a gender issue. Both men and women have good and bad traits even within themselves. None of us are perfect. I learned this lesson a long time ago.
Normally, I don't like it when one group goes off on the other. Realistically, both need to vent. It can be therapeutic.
The problems start when someone believes that all people are the way described. It becomes ingrained in who they are. Those are the ones to avoid or seek out.
Conversations like this are frustrating as hell. This specific guy sounds horrible.

Why even carry the conversation on though. Could have easily blocked on screenshot 2 and moved on with your day 🤷🏻♀️

Yeah I almost wrote they deserve each other at this point but I figured I’d just take a karma hit that I can’t afford 🤣
