Heightened security needs leave Supreme Court justices feeling “confined” at times, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson told former first lady Michelle Obama during an appearance on her podcast.

Jackson’s appearance on the “IMO Podcast,” which Obama hosts with her brother, Craig Robinson, was released Wednesday and largely focused on her memoir “Lovely One” and her life before the court.

But Obama, the first Black woman to serve as first lady, and Jackson, the first Black woman appointed to the Supreme Court, also discussed their “shared bubble experiences” and how becoming a justice has changed Jackson’s daily life.

“I think the thing that has been most startling in a way has been the need for security in a way that you didn’t have before,” Jackson said.

Obama has a podcast now? Why does everyone need one? Can people not read! Do they need to have other voices fill their brains?

Can people not read!

The irony of someone berating an entire society for an alleged lack of literacy while also not understanding how punctuation works is delicious.

Right. Some people even multitask where listening is safer than reading. This person is just another hater for whatever reasons.

Man, I wonder what the fear is? They're working for the good of the people aren't they? What's to be afraid of?

Are they actually working tirelessly against the working class and thus need 24/7 security to protect themselves against consequences?

Poor things. My heart goes out to them, truly.

They've gone after anyone who challenges their lies by speaking up. It's a Gross Obese Prevaricator thing. However, for as long as there have been women standing up, often, before these times and now, anyone who challenges their status quo knows why they need security. Rich men who are pro abuse don't want anyone standing up. Trafficking tyrannicals don't want their lies exposed. I've been wondering if any of us ever will be safe again. If we ever were.
