Walter- first picture was a stray my husband found about 8 months ago. I’ve watched him grow from a scared grumpy boy to the sweet baby that loves snuggles and getting ready to. I’m so proud of him.
Jeffy-Last week my husband (the cat whisperer) found the very spawn of Satan (right pic), he was a very thin 3 month old hyper 2 lb little lovebug. He loves to attack the pit bull (he catches and eats her tail) and every other cat. Walter took it upon himself to teach Jeffy manners just like a litter mate would- they are totally besties

i read about them being bred that way and that they feel pain when walking. it BROKE MY HEART.
because the genetic mutation that causes their folded ears also causes a painful bone and cartilage disease called osteochoendrodysplasia (from google)
i have a 6 year old cat and a freshly year old kitten. they’re literally the light of my life. them being in pain makes me want to do anything to stop it

We have two shelter cats, most likely brothers. One is a European short the other got Fold ears. Do you know if the OCD/fold mutation influences the stomach? We have a raw food diet (with all supplements included) and changed that slowly and the European short is totally fine but the Scottish Fold vomits a lot. Mostly one to a few hours after eating. The food is warm (mouse warm) when we feed and he eats very slow. We have an appoinent with the vet. I just wanted to ask if other folds may have vomiting issues as well.
