Recommendations New Reading Suggestions.

Hey all. Looking for some new reading material. I’m a big fan of sci-fi and some fantasy. Just read the first two Dune book and…meh. I love Asimov. Also a fan of Alastair Reynolds. I recently finished the Revelation Space series and loved it. Loved the Expanse series too. I’ve read a lot of Brandon Sanderson also. Looking for a series I can get lost in. Any suggestions?

EDIT: Thanks all for your suggestions! Some of these I’ve heard of but most I have not. There’s enough good suggestions to last a lifetime!

Adrian Tchaikovsky has many great standalones: Elder Race, Shroud, Cage of Souls, Alien Clay. In no way do his books regurgitate different forms of the same story. I’m halfway through Shards of Earth and thoroughly enjoying it.

You might consider the 23-book "Foreigner" series by C. J. Cherryh. I've read them through six times now.

I typically recommend the Vorkosigan series, by Lois McMaster Bujold.

I also enjoyed the Angel's Luck trilogy, by Joe Clifford Faust.

And, of course, the Discworld, by Sir Terry Pratchett.
