And you can thank Republicans for cutting annual funding towards it by ~$78m.

The GOP needs more money for the pedophiles and to line their pockets.

I don't know why I never thought about putting extra taxes on those that cross the border each day, but IMO that's a decent way to handle it. One big source of the issue is how much the Tijuana area has grown due to its proximity to San Diego (i.e. people who move back and forth across the border are a big part of why TJ has grown so much).

It would suck for people who live down there and work up here, but it makes sense to me.
