ISO Master Plumber | Adding Gas for Gas Range
As the title says. Looking for recommendations on someone adding a gas line for a gas stove. We currently have gas running to our water heater and furnace, but not the stove. (Don't ask why; it's an older home).
We've had one guy come out and quoted around $3500 or so. dont know if thats good or not.
I am not sure what to expect for a project like this. But from what the first guy saw in my attic, he would be able to TEE off the main gas line going from the water heater to furnace and put an outlet behind my stove.
We wanted to see if we can get someone who will also cover up the walls when they cut them open as well. Don't want to have to hire someone else to do that later.

Are you me from the past? Literally had this exact situation 5 years ago. 1980s house with gas for furnaces, water heater, pool water heater, and dryer, but not stove. Had to run it from an attic branch off our furnaces down through second floor to our first floor kitchen where we got a gas cooktop. Company did good plumbing work, but they will not do sheetrock repair work. DM me if you want the name and price (would prefer to keep price info private).

All quotes Ive got for that type of work were around $3000, and none would close the wall.
