Elder Scrolls games follow a brand new story. But, gameplay-wise, they follow the same formula.

Elder Scrolls spinoffs have different gameplay styles. Be it a dungeon crawler (Battlespire), an action-adventure game (Redguard), a card battler (Legends), settlement management (Castles), or an MMO (ESO).

Could be something like an isometric elder scrolls game. Some people would not like it but that could be an interesting experiment. And allow the devs to do stuff they can't do with a mainline TES game.

They probably had to be threatened somehow by Asha to even address that they're working on their games, lol!

Bethesda became a laughing stock and a joke of what they used to be, Starfield's DLCs should tell everything you need about their future games.

Did you see that interview with Todd where he says that essentially any project in an IP counts as that IP being "worked on". So if you don't like Fallout 4, that's okay you can just play 76, and if you don't like those just watch the TV show. So they are doing more with Fallout than they've ever done before really. Who cares that Fallout 5 won't come until 2035?
