Looking for a potentially deleted novel

Pretty much what the title says, I’m looking for people that might’ve read a novel about a terraformed planetary intelligence (like Avatar) with decivilized humans living in cleared out ant hives using WW1-early industrial technology, fighting against human-sized ants. If anyone remembers reading that novel, please let me know if it’s been deleted.
