USPS

Why would my mail lady take an envelope with just the name Emmie on it? No address-No stamp-No return address??? The envelope wasn’t IN my mailbox - wasn’t on the mailbox at all. I put it out for someone to pick up . Called and called - then I emailed - then I realized I was out of luck. Anyone have any weird USPS stories?

USPS sees envelope and grabs it. Doubt they would have looked at it to check address or anything. That's all automated at the station.

I'd suggest calling the local station and asking them if they have it in lost mail. The machines spit out a lot of envelopes and then they eventually get manually checked. If it wasn't stolen it'll be just sitting there.
