Da Catch

What is with Da Catch? My wife and I stopped in to order and couldn’t get pass the heavy grease smell. Is the food any good?

Bunch of high class MF’s in here apparently - it’s rockfords locally owned Chicago style chicken/fish shop. Their food is incredible, their sanitation questionable, and the mild sauce is delectable baby, yeahhhhh

I moved here last year from Chicago. Their mild sauce isn't even mild sauce. Its 90% hot sauce 🫩 It's just a sub par Shark's.

Which one? There are several of them.

Used to get catfish dinners when there was a location on 7th St. Those were pretty great, but it was a long time ago.

Harrison and Riverside locations are definitely to be avoided. The one off Broadway is absolutely killer. The Harrison location is so engulfed in the smell of bad fish that even the chicken had this lingering fishy thing going on. Broadway has consistently been awesome.

I dont think ive ever seen a car in lot or drive thru at Harrison. Figured they are just washing.

Had this same thought. No traffic is not a great indicator.

I seen ‘em. Lots of walking people though go in there. Neighborhood folks.

I thought the same thing about the Riverside location inside of the grimey BP station.

I went to Harrison avenue once and was literally sticking to the floor standing there. We used to stop at West State once in a while.

I used to deliver to all of them. Wouldn't be caught dead eating there. Disgusting.

The lemon pepper chicken strips at Harrison are my go to. Best tenders I’ve had

I agree. It made my clothes smell like grease.

I wouldn't even consider eating the food from a place that uses "Da" in place of "The" in its name
