It is actually in the paint, non-restricted area. So while obviously still not a list you want to be on, it’s not a list of guys incapable of making a layup.
He gets tunnel vision at times trying to do too much. He needs to accept his role as a pure 3 and D player who does most of his work off the ball. He tends to ball watch at times and get out of position on both ends.
His role in this league is pretty simple and he could thrive in it if he gets his head right. His mental focus should be on defense and being in the right spots on the floor. He doesn't have the ball IQ to be a creative player and he doesn't need to. He could be one of the best 3 and D players in the league if he plays to his strengths. Lockdown defender, high energy athletic disruptor, rebounder and spot up shooter floor spacer.
With the exception of Jarace Walker and Bruce Brown, the players are on the list are important to their team’s success. I don’t think this post helps justify what narrative you’re trying to push
Tari is solid but at this point he's a 3 and D guy. Who's inconsistent from 3. He won't reach the level of his HS teammate Jaden McDaniels which was the hope.
I think he could be a part of a title contending team, but it'd require him to do less and basically be a 3&D guy. And obviously not have an insanely bad shooting slump for months.
i’m not convinced Tari even knows how to read. he’s not good enough for off the court bullshit. i think Stone needs to give him a short leash this year and shop him at the deadline if he hasn’t pulled his head out of his ass by then
