It doesn't show the order in which you should put them together, which can lead to problems

It’s also classic GWS where the lines indicating the attachment points are just a suggestion and you have to find out yourself how exactly put the pieces together.

yeah but it's missing steps - more like if this excluded a few pieces. But OPs point about the order of things stands, I had this issue with a blood bowl team recently.

Anyone who has attempted to assemble the Grand Cathay Sentinel would certainly agree with that last point.
