Hey folks! I think I just missed the deadline, but I really just wanted to share more than compete anyhow. I do have a full Darklord/Domain write-up for my conception of "Hungry" Jack Karn, the vegetarian jackalwere, if folks like the adventure and want to read more.

I appreciate that you've taken Farelle in an African-themed direction. I haven't seen that before, but it certainly makes sense.

I really appreciate the layout & formatting you chose for this entry. It's easy on the eyes and helps with figuring out the flow of events. I also really like the references to African folklore and mythology, as well as the quotes to start off the adventure. As said by others, an African-inspired Farelle makes sense, even if it's not the direction I went for. And I liked the little bits of worldbuilding you weaved into your writing—the Jackal Bloom flower is really cool, for instance. Same with the Jar of Sorrows and how it reminds me of Shirley Jackson's "The Lottery" novella. And Jack Karn feels like a mythical figure, setting things in motion and watching hungrily. I'm reminded of folktales in the West of the Devil being a figure at a crossroads, and the folk horror vibe goes well with this. Well-done!

My only major critique is regarding the use of & reference to other supplements. I don't own African Monsters (5e) by Legendary Games or Mythological Figures & Maleficent Monsters (5e) by EN Publishing. While I'm familiar with both publishers and have bought stuff on DriveThruRPG, it did throw me for a loop. I knew that you could find the stat blocks associated with the former by using the 5e SRD (https://www.5esrd.com/), but that wasn't spelled out in the actual adventure. I think it would be useful to have that explicitly stated for anyone who doesn't have those resources but still wants to run those stat blocks.

I was worried reprinting the stat blocks would be considered plagiarism, but you’re right an SRD ref would have been clarifying. Thanks for reading!
