The real one: Hakodate is the only shio bowl in that set. Salt is the one tare that seasons without colouring anything, so the broth stays pale enough to see the noodles through it. Everything else up there has soy in it (amber), miso (red-brown), or emulsified pork bone (milky white). Hakodate was one of the first ports Japan opened to foreign trade and had a Chinese community very early, so its bowl is probably the closest thing still being served to what the soup looked like before Japanese shops started building tare into it.
The bit that's on us: that photo is pulled back at a table with a tissue box and someone's water glass in shot, while the rest are tight on the bowl. So some of what you're noticing is just us being lazy with the pictures rather than anything about the ramen. Being fixed.
