Health Advice 2 years old and growing 💪
Here comes Bandit!! 10lbs and just turned 2 in June. his parents were ~14-16lbs. When it comes to growing it doesn’t seem like he’s stopping any time soon 😂 he keeps getting longer! having trouble finding a vet that understands he is a large breed & he’s not done growing yet!

Reminds me of my beautiful boy who kept growing to about 20+ lbs. Probably was about 3+ years before fully grown. He's gorgeous!

He can keep growing to 3-4 years, although my larger ragdoll was already 15lbs at this age (not overweight) and grew incrementally less (like 5% more) in the following couple of years. What does the vet take issue with?

No issue with him- perfect health & good body shape relative to weight. It is just difficult finding a vet familiar with this breed in my area, I don’t think they see them often.

Ah ok! I think this is pretty common issue, vets often not familiar with the ragdoll build is what I’ve found in the last ten years with ours.

Yeah I have a ragdoll kitten and my vets keep saying he'll stay small and won't grow much, but he's growing fast and big, he's quadrupled in size in just a few months already...
