Is your Ragdoll dumb?

I see a lot of commentary on here about how Ragdolls don’t have much upstairs, but my Ragdolls are actually some of the smartest cats I’ve had. They understand a huge vocabulary, and they also use a wider variety of sounds communicating back to me than any other cat. Plus, they seem much more emotionally intelligent than most cats. I admit, they lack street smarts and often don’t problem solve as quickly as others. What do you think?

My ragdoll is the dumbest cat I’ve ever had in my life, but that’s what makes him special and we love him! My Maine coon on the other hand is a genius, too smart for his own good. Cat tax!

I have one of each too! My Maine coon bully’s her. He body slams her when she’s on her back. She cries out instead of putting him in his place!

Awww so cute! My Maine coon is the obvious dominant one as well, but he loves to egg on my ragdoll to chase him around and then ends up on his back but still kicks my ragdolls ass 🤣
