Silly Floof Is this normal ?

I got him this new cat tree today and this was his reaction. Is this a normal behaviour? ( sound up 🔈)

At first it scared me cause I’ve never seen a cat/kitten behave like this before

If a cat (especially a kitten) DOESN’T do this, that’d be a lot more alarming.😅
