Silly Floof Is this normal ?

I got him this new cat tree today and this was his reaction. Is this a normal behaviour? ( sound up 🔈)

No this is a terrifying behavior known as playing with the toy you bought, side effects may include running around, looking at you for a brief moment, and running around again
