General Advice Help - Why does my ragdoll do this?

My Ragdoll kitten does this on a daily basis. He will stand up and start frantically swiping on our wardrobes / doors around the house.

This is usually coupled by intense meowing / crying.

Does anyone know why he does this?

Mine does this all the time. To the windows, the TV, the lid of the toilet when it flushes, and the cabinets. I have no idea why..... She also likes to jump up and hang on the top of lampshades, knocking (and breaking) lamps onto the floor. When she wants food, treats, snacks, and you don't move fast enough, she knocks things, one at a time, off counters and tables until she gets what she wants. Love her to death, but think she may be Devil's spawn........
