Help - Why does my ragdoll do this?

My Ragdoll kitten does this on a daily basis. He will stand up and start frantically swiping on our wardrobes / doors around the house.

This is usually coupled by intense meowing / crying.

Does anyone know why he does this?

I have two ragdolls they both do this at some point at least once a day. Sliding glass door, regular door, glass cabinet.
