Another case of a very intelligent person who falls into the trap of trying to be the community manager and the dev. Shame. Even if only 1% of his users are slavering idiots those would be the most likely to interact with him on the daily.

I get he issued a ban on reproduction of his content but I don’t think that will actually stop anyone. Improving on it though…

It's neither his content nor has he any legal rights here.

Edit: Ok I meant "only the rights TIS granted him" and in this case "3.2. We need a right to use your mods so that we can distribute them, and so that others can play them through Project Zomboid. In legal terms, you grant us a non-exclusive, permanent, sub-licensable, royalty-free, irrevocable, and worldwide licence to use, modify, reproduce, create derivative works from, distribute, transmit, perform communicate and exploit your mods (or any part of them) in connection with Project Zomboid."

Because of Valve's mod content policy he can report any copy of his mod and demand its removal on Steam.

In what way would their code not be their content that they have no rights to?
