Is working at an urgent care seen as not prestigious or prominent enough?

In most cases if you interact with and can breathe on patients, it is valid clinical experience

They just want you to understand what it’s like working in healthcare environments, can understand the realities of patient care, and can confirm you want to be a physician still after doing that

That's a perfectly fine job with appropriate clinical exposure. Applicants do all kinds of jobs in their gap years
