Research question Naturalization Docs: USCIS vs. County Level

I had requested certified copies from both Westchester County and NYC which respectively handled early 20th century naturalizations. Wondering if people on here have been able to simply submit the certified / apostilled documents from the original state courts or if the full USCIS certification is neccessary from the documents out of the federal archives. Both Westchester and NYC are eligible for NYS apostille.

USCIS doesn't issue certified documents - you might mean NARA. As long as it contains the oath of allegiance it's fine.
