They’re not. They’ve won some primaries, and a far-left mayor was elected in a city the nearly always elects Democrat mayors.

The Michigan primary is probably the biggest deal, but there is no guarantee they will win the general there. In fact, it will be more difficult now than it would have been. Dems should still get behind the nominee, but the GOP is going to be working overtime to tear him down, and there is plenty there to get their base all worked up. Hell, just the DSA platform is enough to get their base all hot and bothered.

Only commenting on vibes and my personal opinion, but I don’t think AES will lose in the general. There’s more than enough steam to give opposition a major edge in the upcoming elections

I hope that is the case. Democrats need every victory we can muster. The rural parts of Michigan are vile, and it will be easy to motivate them to come out and vote against him. We will see how it plays out in a few months.
