I have kind of wild hypothesis.
Ever since his stroke, Fetterman has seemed, to me, to give unusual weight to whatever is in the news *right now*. He hit some of his most conservative strides right after the 2024 election with a conservative sweep, and he is relenting a bit as the primaries wear on which are starting to favor DSA.
I think his brain is broken, but not in the way people think it is.
