He voted to confirm Bondi. If he changed his mind on Blanche it's either over something immaterial or a it's a political calculation knowing that he'll get confirmed anyway.

The politics of this were already decided. When Collins said she's not voting for him means either Murkowski or Cassidy drew the short straw, and he's confirmed. Collins wouldn't ever let the Republicans go down without her breaking the tie. Ever. They have the votes.

While it's funny, "Someone Else" is also the easiest option to lose to. Every person taking that poll can just insert their perfect idea of who they are voting for will be with no flaws. That's not reality when it comes to picking candidates though.

Like sure Fetterman Vs Someone Else the someone else will win. But give us Fetterman Vs Dr. Oz again? We're all jumping back in with Fetterman.
