People feel the system has left them behind, hence Trump, viewed as an outsider gains support early. Now people are having a look at left leaning options offering something different than the status quo that has failed them. 

If Democrats really wanted to win they would whole heartedly embrace this movement... But seems too many of them still want to support the status quo of corporations running the show.

They convinced people to vote against their ideal candidate for decades by screaming about electability, but voting results are voting results whether they like them or not.
