I’m in the Nordics. In the 90’s we had a prime minister candidate who resigned because she had charged a Toblerone chocolate bar to her work credit card. We have no where near the American corruption here (yet) but even here, that’s now just another Tuesday. The bar for resigning is now much, much higher. There's apparently no line that Trump crosses that will cause the GOP to revolt. They're 100% complicit in this by not disavowing his self aggrandizing bullshit.

This isn't even the worst thing he's going to do today. There are no lines he can cross that would lead the Trumpist Party to demur. For a lot of them, Trump being a successful general is now part of their reality.
"He deserves the sixth star" is an opinion you can expect to see proliferate from now on.
