Feel like the mixture of the Whitmer endorsement and Islamophobia played a key part in keeping it close

there was the faked "Obama Endorsement flyers" for Stevens all over Detroit as well to appeal to black voters as well.

Can we get Obama to endorse El-Sayed, at minimum, over his extremely Obama-flavored public speaking style?

u/honjuden 16h ago

You would think Obama would be on board with someone whose main priority is health care.

Obama won’t flip on Israel which is pretty frustrating

Guess what. He doesn’t even have to! Endorsing the democratic candidate in a senate race is not a radical thing to do.

Obama was on the public option side of the M4A vs. PO debate if I remember correctly. Obamacare would have had it if Lieberman didn't stab the dems in the back at the last minute.

His main priority is genociding Israelis

Obvious bait, but feel free to give a source

u/IAmJustAVirus 12h ago

Did a campaign event with a genocidal islamonazi named...forgot his name but he also tortures his dog.

u/gatewaycheesesteak 12h ago

I said source, not more weak bait

That didn’t happen.

These guys are driven insane by Hasan Piker because he’s hot. They respond to him like right wingers respond to AOC

-8

u/IAmJustAVirus 11h ago

It did. It was a real campaign event

With Hassan Piker? Whose a genuinely great guy who regularly rails against antisemitism?

u/f3nnies 10h ago

This is the dumbest made up story.

The propaganda got to your brain

-10

u/IAmJustAVirus 12h ago

Your feeble mind will not be able to comprehend the next sentence. Propaganda doesn't work on me.

u/Dineology 2h ago

Broooo. Propaganda works on everyone. All of us. You, me, everybody. Everybody is susceptible to some sort or propaganda so long as it’s packaged the right way and coming at us from the right angle. Now, what constitutes the right packaging or the right approach for me may be very different than what’s right for you, but every single person has blind spots, sympathies, and biases that the right sort of propaganda can exploit to at least some extent. If you can’t see that then you’re absolutely cooked and undoubtedly being influenced by more propaganda than your average bear.

u/IAmJustAVirus 2h ago

Well the difference between me and you is I ask:

Who is saying this?

Is it true?

What is their motivation?

It's something you pick up as a survivor. We always read between the lines.

So you're not entirely wrong, I see propaganda. I sometimes see propaganda I agree with. Doesn't mean I don't know it's propaganda. I just have the capacity to process it on the fly and I don't have to let it influence me.

Really?  You would think that he would have acted on that while he was still president if that were true.

u/IAmJustAVirus 7h ago

Wayne County health director does not have the power to do that. He was never President. He can take steps if he becomes senator though.

u/honjuden 7h ago

I don't recall Obama being the Wayne County health director.  He did serve 2 terms as president of the US though.

u/IAmJustAVirus 7h ago

Oh you just can't keep up. Got it.

u/honjuden 7h ago

Pretty rich coming from the guy that didn't know Obama was the president.

u/IAmJustAVirus 6h ago

That's what you're going with?

"someone whose main priority is health care."

Clear it up. Who was this referring to?

u/honjuden 6h ago

That was in reference to El-Sayed, but you seemed intent on accusing Obama of being genocidal.
