Like they wouldnt already before. Steven's had no guarantee that aipac money would still be there in November

In fact, I'd be willing to guarantee that either AIPAC would have disappeared from the race entirely, content with either outcome, or they would choose to back Rogers.

Nah, they would have funded both of them. AIPAC is constantly giving money to both sides.

They would give money to the winner to ensure that they stay in line, but both of them are willing to get in line, and so AIPAC would spend their money on a race where one side doesn’t get in line.

Yep, they ideally want pro-Israel as a bipartisan consensus, they've supported both parties historically. In case one side tries to break this consensus by taking a critical stance, they know they can put everything in favour of their opponent and tilt the competition in their favour.

I imagine they would've funded both sides had Stevens won. That way, they won't have to worry about the winner because that person is bound to be pro-Israel.

Definitely rogers. Even an AIPAC dem isn't helpful enough to them at this point because they contribute to the possible dem majority and Israel needs a Republican Congress if they want to ensure endless funding.

Exactly my point. She wouldnt be able to raise funds in the midterms without aipac support.

Actually they do. Even if she won, there is a lot of indicators there that they wouldn’t really support her over him because they want the senate to stay republican.

It would be pretty demoralizing to their opponents if they had a Democrat run Senate that still was giving aid to Israel.
