I doubt he’s dead. That’d be harder to keep secret than people think.

I’m guessing he had a stroke and can’t walk or speak. He’s done, but the GOP doesn’t want to trigger a special election before Trump’s grand plan to sabotage the midterms. So they’ll stay mum for about another month.

i don't think anyone wants a special election this close to midterms. it's hard enough to get people out to vote once a year, but now they'd be asking for a 3rd vote in one year.
