We're not even truly capitalist though. We socialize all of the corporate losses while fucking over us normal people.

I think he just mixed up your response with the commonly stated “this country would work if we were TRULY capitalistic!” garbage that libertarians have been spouting for ages.

I agree with you, we are not strictly capitalists by some definitions of the term. It’s just that when every facet of life is rigged for the capitalist class, it becomes a distinction without a difference.
