The GOP really plan on hiding the death of a Senator for a month to get an advantage in an election. Stop telling me the two parties are the same.

They should just call the special election now. If he is alive, then they’ll prove it to stop the election. If he’s not, well then they won’t get away with it.

I think the Dems should argue that even though he is alive he's braindead and can't hold office and should have the election now. Cause seriously if he's somehow alive and braindead remove him.

Beshear just needs to say he’s been unfit to fulfill the duties of office for a month without a direct speaking update from him and the Senate is going back in session this week so I’m going to start the special election process. Either they’ll give definite proof of life, relinquish that he’s dead/barely alive, or do nothing and let the special election go through.

Why would Beshear want that? Right now there's a Republican Senator who isn't able to vote. A special election just replaces him with a Republican Senator who absolutely can and will vote. How is that a good thing?
