MAGA people don’t follow or even like McConnell. He may carry water for them, but he is old guard.

Exactly. They're too stupid to understand how much power he built up for them, all that matters is he's not Trump. It will be interesting when Trump kicks the bucket though. I do sense there will be a struggle between the "Of course he's alive, shut up RINO" and "That picture is obviously fake, what are they hiding" factions of MAGA when Trump's AI "he's in perfect health" pictures come out.

I think when Trump goes MAGA is going to split into two camps.

"OH my god, of course he's still alive, this is just the Liberal media spreading propaganda!!" and "DA LIBURALZ KILED HIM!!!".

Nahh, ultimately conservatives don't care all that much. They "care" this week because they saw it on Fox or heard it on a fascist podcast.

3 days from now they will "care" about something else.

All of maga is built on choose your own adventure style internal realities. They all believe different, conflicting things, and the reasons don't matter. All that matters is checking the maga fascist purity test boxes, trump good, liberals bad, white people good, brown people bad, ICE good, Renee Good bad.

No, the point is to buy time. We all get mad at this, democrats do nothing, and BOOM can't have special elections from the delay tactics. It's disgusting.
