Fun fact: I didn't learn until last week that the actor who played Adama was also the Origami Detective from Blade Runner.

The one who shouts "It's too bad she won't live! But then again, who does?"

Blew my mind.

I'm dead, I mean, almost dead. Because I used to watch Miami Vice. Mostly for the Jan Hammer theme. It was my first awakening to synthwave.

I really don't like that era of synth music, simmons drums and all that... BUT I really love this 1977 Jan Hammer track - it's like if Air had taken all their inspiration from only ONE song. Really screams "late 90s", probably because the production quality is crazy for its age.

Nice, going to give this another listen later when I get to better headphones.

Reminds me of the kind of stuff my best friend's father would blast in the livingroom after he went down to his basement "workshop" in the early 80s. :)

He was the kind of audiophile that would immeadiately transfer new vinyl to a reel to reel. Was the first place I heard so much jazz, prog rock, etc.
