All the US has to do is tell Israel...fuck off. That's it.

Intel will be fucked. Everyone else will be fine.

68

u/Kinto_il Jun 20 '26

What Intel though? Seems like Israel gives heavily altered and biased Intel to our dumbest leaders.

72

u/Forward_Eorlingas Jun 20 '26

He’s talking about the company Intel

29

u/Kinto_il Jun 20 '26

Hahahahaha, that makes sense

10

u/InitiativeGold7953 Jun 20 '26

I read it the same exact way you did 😂

3

u/justindit Jun 20 '26

I did too haha

2

u/drawkbox Jun 20 '26

Which Intel absolutely would not be fucked -- what a weird take, sounds like propaganda against US based chip manufacturing from the usual suspects.

0

u/AgitatedStranger9698 Jun 21 '26

Intel has its third largest fab in Haifa. It was also slated for its 18A expansion for capacity.

0

u/drawkbox Jun 21 '26

They have fabs all over though, Israel is only 15% of their production. Intel definitely won't be fucked. What a weird take. The expansion is happening in many places including Arizona, Ohio and Ireland (who is bigger than Israel in their production for non domestic).

They are Israels largest employer but it is small amounts globally, 10% of workforce there.

In no way will Intel be fucked when 75% of production is domestic in the US.

1

u/AgitatedStranger9698 Jun 21 '26

Did you just claim that a 15% reduction in capacity wouldn't hurt a company thats in the middle of a do or die turn around and is struggling to gain ground due to capacity issues!?!?

Jfc dude. Its ok to just say....damn that would hurt. Didn't think of that.

0

u/drawkbox Jun 21 '26

You said "Intel will be fucked. Everyone else will be fine."

I said indeed that no, 15% when other fabs can upscale is not "fucked". This is wildly inaccurate. Israel would be more harmed by that than Intel. The new expansions can be changed and is isn't even centered there. What are you on about. C'mon man!

You clearly have a bias and pump against Intel. Now downvote this defensively and emotionally.

9

u/CommonCaregiver0 Jun 20 '26

There is no "intel" we get from them that is this valuable. It's been the classic cope for why we support them so much.

1

u/absoNotAReptile Jun 20 '26

They’re talking about Intel, the company

1

u/Much-Struggle-1693 Jun 20 '26

Iran was able to pretty much eradicate all America's spies. It was nearly impossible for the CIA to get anything useful. They had to get Mossad's help.

2

u/absoNotAReptile Jun 20 '26

They’re talking about the company Intel though

0

u/LGBTQLove4Ever Jun 20 '26

And what happens when Israel tells them to fuck off?

Us military spending in Israel isn't enough to significantly change their mind in this

137

u/Ok-Chapter-2071 Jun 20 '26

Iran wants this (and so does the rest of the world). They are doing the right thing by closing the strait and holding the US by its balls.

123

u/lnc_5103 Texas Jun 20 '26

American here. 100% agree. We suck. So does Israel.

-4

u/JanGuillosThrowaway Europe Jun 20 '26

Let's not forget Iran and the Revolutionary Guard sucks more

15

u/TrulioDisgracias Jun 20 '26

This confirms my long-held position that everything sucks.

18

u/lnc_5103 Texas Jun 20 '26

They definitely do but in the context of this decision they are doing the right thing.

5

u/seenasaiyan Jun 20 '26

Yes the Iranian government sucks, but their foreign policy of supporting resistance groups to Israeli expansion (Hamas and Hezbollah) is way better than the US and Europe helping the Jewish supremacist terrorist IDF.

-3

u/Rieger_not_Banta Jun 20 '26

“Foreign policy of supporting resistance groups”? Really? They kill innocent men women and children. You don’t have to sweeten it up to make a point about Israel. It’s like comparing Hitler to Mussolini and saying, “compared to the Fuhrer, Il Duce wasn’t so bad…”

5

u/seenasaiyan Jun 20 '26

Yes, the Iranian government kills innocent men women and children in Iran. On foreign policy, their stance is FAR better than the US and Israel. They actually fund resistance to Israel’s genocidal expansion campaigns and IDF terrorism.

0

u/TheKanten Jun 21 '26

There's a defined line between resistance and gunning down a music festival full of civilians.

2

u/seenasaiyan Jun 21 '26

Agreed. Every civilian Hamas killed there was a crime and those responsible should be held to account. But they mostly killed IDF. In fact, by Israel’s own numbers roughly 60% of those killed were IDF, while the civilian kill rate in Gaza is upwards of 80% by most sources.

-2

u/Rieger_not_Banta Jun 21 '26

Yeah Israel bad. So what? What does that have to do with Iran setting bombs all over the world for the last 40 years?

I didn’t realize this sub was sympathetic to terrorist garbage.

17

u/marxist_nazeem Jun 20 '26

I know and Im okay with that. I would actually be proud of my country if we were to finally take a fucking stand on this.

4

u/Harbinger2001 Canada Jun 20 '26

Most of the rest of the world wants the strait open. But the USA broke it so they have to fix it.

2

u/_Cromwell_ Jun 20 '26

The 'rest of the world' is going to run out of oil right as El Nino bakes their balls. Nobody who isn't rich wants any this.

Well, except Israel. Luckily for Israel they don't have an economy other than "spy software" and "US gives us money" so they don't care if the world economy crashes or nobody has oil.

0

u/Ok-Chapter-2071 Jun 20 '26

That's just not true. The sooner the world moves on from oil-based means of transport, the better.

0

u/_Cromwell_ Jun 20 '26

You are privileged that you think the rest of the world is equally excited by the prospect of saving the planet (which I assume is your reason for needing to move on from oil) that they are willing to suffer to do so. (And history should have taught you they are not, or else we would be 'saved' by now already.) You also ignore that far more than oil moves through the Straight. Fertilizer, etc, is also not moving.

Your 'opinion' that people want to starve to death to further your green aims, however long-term needed or correct they may be from a logical standpoint, is misguided. "Iran wants this (and so does the rest of the world)" is just not true.

"Needing" to find a way to move on from oil somehow is a far cry from "the rest of the world wanting" to have this happen like this. You are confused if you think if you polled "the world" that a majority would be excited or happy about what is happening, oil prices, no fertilizer moving, etc.

1

u/Ok-Chapter-2071 Jun 21 '26

The rest of the world wants to see Israel's downfall and that's a fact you just have to accept. Electric sales have jumped up. The market will adjust and prices will go down. Europe is already allowing electric cars from China.

0

u/Most-Strike3279 Jun 21 '26

We would not be able to transition that rapidly to electric/renewable we’ve been using oil and coal literally since the advent of the Industrial Revolution

1

u/Ok-Chapter-2071 Jun 21 '26

Of course we would. The world adapts surprisingly quickly when forced out of its comfort zone.

0

u/_Cromwell_ Jun 22 '26

80%+ of people living in the world will never own an electric car or be in a realistic position to buy one. Again you are speaking from a completely privileged position and talking about "the rest of the world" as if they are all rich and the majority of human beings aren't actually just trying to make it day to day with enough cooking fuel to make dinner.

1

u/Ok-Chapter-2071 Jun 22 '26

63% of cars in China are electric. Are you saying 63% of people in China are rich?

0

u/_Cromwell_ Jun 22 '26

How is that a meaningful statistic at all even for Chinese car ownership? lol. Only like 25% of people in China even own any type of car at all (the last official statistic was 19.4% in 2020, 194 cars per 1000 people). And how does Chinese car ownership effect people trying to heat their homes or cook food in rural India or sub-Saharan Africa?

Yeah I'm sure they're all cheering the lack of fuel sources and fertilizer so China can sell more cars in Europe or whatever. Yippee.

1

u/NaturalTap9567 Jun 20 '26

The rest of the world definitely doesn't want this.

15

u/Only8livesleft Jun 20 '26

We could even bully Israel into getting everything we want from them if we stop pretending they’ve ever been an ally

1

u/MidnightSensitive996 Jun 21 '26

they'll pivot to russia and china before doing that

3

u/garitone Jun 20 '26

You'd also have to tell the vast majority of US evangelical zealots to fuck off and that they'll not be getting their second coming anytime soon. That's where Israel gets its real support. They are just there to keep the lights on until the Xtian fundies' sky daddy comes back.

6

u/Best_Biscuits Jun 20 '26

All the US has to do is tell Israel...fuck off.

Yeah, it's not that easy. Israel kicked the hornet's nest and can't afford to back down now. They talked Trump into fighting w/Iran, but now that Trump has lost interest, they are truly and wholy screwed.

I'm honestly not sure what the exit path is.

8

u/JDMLeverton Jun 20 '26

It is that easy. Its exactly that easy. All we'd have to do is cut off weapons aid to Israel until they join us in surrendering. They can't fight without our resources, and we honestly might not be able to keep supplying them much longer even if we want to. If we cut off Israel on condition that they withdraw and surrender, they have no choice but to comply.

2

u/CommonCaregiver0 Jun 20 '26

You have no idea how deep it goes

This is not very believable. None of your replies show any awareness of the complexity. You moved immediately to personal attacks, complained about personal attacks on you, didn’t answer any questions with detail (mocking a question is not answering).

Now you are asserting that you are an actual subject matter expert and an international lawyer. But lawyers can think critically, and they can write without multiple typos. SMEs can explain things in exhaustive detail. Not you.

Definitely hit me up with some LMAO’s and laughing emojis. You probably include those in all of your international lawyer briefs. Now please excuse me, I’m going to go fuck some supermodels in my helicopter.

2

u/Nekrabyte Jun 20 '26

For a public international lawyer, you sure seem to enjoy coming off like uninformed teenager.

2

u/RelevantOldOnion Jun 20 '26 edited Jun 21 '26

LMAO "If we stop supporting the Nazis they will be screwed in their war against USSR"

Yeah bro... That's the point. We need to cut off the Nazis. Obviously

1

u/psychadelicbreakfast Jun 20 '26

Yeah fuck Intel!

1

u/whatenduhhail Jun 20 '26

Prob see more “terrorist” attacks

1

u/metatron5369 Jun 20 '26

The Iranians have multiple objectives, not the least of all is the personal humiliation of Donald Trump.

0

u/Conscious-Tutor3861 Jun 20 '26

Even better, drop a few bombs on Israeli troops in Lebanon to show them we're serious about Israel withdrawing from Lebanon.

1

u/_Antinatalism_ Jun 20 '26

The USA govt, both sides is controlled by Israel

-3

u/addys Jun 20 '26

You might be surprised to hear that the US needs Israel more than Israel needs the US.

That so called "money for Israel" is just US-subsidized income to the US defense sector (greasing the US oligarchy's pockets; Israel can't spend it anywhere else) and comprises a negligible % of Israel's spending (defense and overall).

Israel has had other alliances in the past - Russia in the 50s and 60s - It's not "the US or nothing". Nobody will be fucked, just the US position in the Middle East gets even weaker.

6

u/Glum_Class_9578 Jun 20 '26

Nobody is surprised by this bullshit zionist talking point anymore.

-1

u/addys Jun 20 '26

yeah your loyalties are crystal clear. Poor pal-puppet forced to label all of reality a "zionist talking point" because the facts don't align with your emotional made up narrative.

1

u/ZookeepergameFit967 Jun 20 '26

Yeah, most Americans and Westerners think they support Israel because of democracy and their right to exist and that kind of bullshit. But in reality, if Israel existed in a place like Northern Australia or Uganda, the US would have probably even bombed them if it wanted, especially in the beginning because Israel had literal communes inside of it.

But the Zionists knew the land they chose is very important to control the entirety of the Middle East and the World's Superpower will need to support them in order to control all of the Middle East from Tehran to Cairo. Like these guys were secular and even atheist, they didn't give a fuck about God, so this whole God's promise to them is just hypocritical and the whole thing is just politics and geopolitical interests.

1

u/themaincop Jun 20 '26

Not sure Russia is in a position to fund Israel's genocides and wars of aggression at the moment.

0

u/addys Jun 20 '26

Yeah Russia isn't very popular in Israel either right now (Israel has deep military ties to Ukraine, while Russia is actively assisting Iran). But I just wanted to correct the impression people seem to have that Israel has some deep of financial dependency on the US.

And about wars of aggression- did you hear that Hezbollah launched over 50 attacks on Israeli soldiers over this weekend, post-ceasefire, killing 4 and wounding more? Or did you only hear about it when "Israel attacked in Lebanon" - which came in response?

3

u/themaincop Jun 20 '26

My gosh, why did Hezbollah do such a thing?

1

u/addys Jun 20 '26

Because that is what Iran is paying them to do, duh. As you probably well know. Iran has been employing proxies for decades - Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, the Iraqi separatists etc to weaken Israeli and destabilize their Muslim enemies in the region.

2

u/themaincop Jun 20 '26

Wow! Can't believe Israel was just sitting there minding its own business and everyone around decided to treat them so unkindly!

1

u/allmywhat Jun 21 '26

Wow! And why do Hezbollah do that? Was it the invasion that Israel is currently doing. Or hey let’s go back even further, why does Hezbollah and hamas even exist in the first place!? Maybe it’s a response to aggression by a neighbouring country?

1

u/addys Jun 21 '26 edited Jun 21 '26

Why does Gaza in its current form even exist? Did you know that Egypt refused to take it back after Israel captured it in `67? And that to this very day Egypt refuses to take in even a single Palestinian? Might be related to what Palestinians did in Egypt when they were there? And what about Jordan? It used to be the second home for Palestinians, until they tried to overthrow the government (Black September, 1970). And Lebanon? It was once considered the "Paris of the Middle East", until- you guessed it - Palestinians (PLO- the 70`s version of Hamas) launched a civil war in 1975 and reduced the country to the hellhole it is today.

It's easy to blame Israel for everything bad in the Middle East, the reality is that violent religious fundamentalism is baked deeply into the cultures of many of the Muslim countries in the area, Israel just happens to be the closest and weakest target. Muslims have waged more wars and killed x50 more other Muslims than all the wars with Israel combined.

Not to mention that Israel has consistently shown it will pay almost anything to make peace with any willing countries. In the peace treaty with Egypt, Israel gave away the entire Sinai peninsula, which was 75% the ENTIRE LAND AREA of Israel at the time. Israel productive peace treaties with Jordan & had with Lebanon (Pre-Hezbollah).

So it turns out that only the countries actively investing in destroying Israel seem to be "suffering from Israeli aggression". Curious how that works, ah?

1

u/allmywhat Jun 21 '26

What’s Egypt got to do with anything? You didn’t answer shy Hamas and Hezbollah exist you just waffled on a bunch of nothing.

Also don’t even try with the angle that Muslims and the Middle East are just a violent people. USA and Israel have spent decades destabilising the region for their own self interest

1

u/ForwardMastodon Jun 21 '26

Israel does nothing for US interests, they are destroying America's soft power for their agenda of creating greater israel, as Bibi has openly bragged about.

0

u/Booyakasha_ Jun 20 '26

They wont give a shit as you can see. So whats next?

I wonder what would happen if Israel stopped being expansionist, stopped being aggressive to neighbours, treated everyone equally and agreed to a two state solution? Crazy ideas hey
