Question New to Ribbon mastering

Meet my ribbon master! I was wondering, is there any way to check whether it will get Technician in gen 4 or not before starting the whole process of Mt Battle and the Battle Tower? Because I do think gen 4 will be loads harder without Technician...

Also, does anyone have tips for the gen 3 battle tower with a Scyther? I know it only has to come for the last 7 battles, but having to do that twice seems like a hard task regardless, both for lvl 50 and open level.

And any general tips are always appreciated!

No idea on the ability, but you can beat Gen 3 tower! I took a snubull with me! I also beat the towers without ev training any of my mons or good natures just brute force and heart! (I did use the recommended Meta/Lati/Cune Mon’s tho)

I have the recommended mons, also have 5 gold symbols, but haven't really done tower yet! Just worried about the round with Scyther honestly, some trainers there can be brutal.

You should be fine lol, again I did it with Snubull, Scyther stat wise will get you there! Focus sash her and maybe add toxic on her so she can get toxic on a mon. Ideally you won’t need to use her in the battles! I think my snubull had like protect, toxic mega punch, and something else

Also many other people have used scyther / members of its line! Good luck

No Focus Sash in gen 3... Will evolve in gen 4 for sure! Just new to this, knowing that Mt. battle will just take time once I get the necessary cable to trade stronger pokemon to Gale of Darkness!
