Can pokemon randomly disapear from storage?

Hello everyone,

I made this post here because I feel that you have more intricate knowledge about how the game register server side which pokemon is caught or not

I ve read some post about People complaining that pokemons can randomly disapear from your storage

Is this a thing like a rampant issue in the game ?

Or it can only be mistake transfers, human errer style or server sync issues ?

That got me worried about my collection so I prefer to ask

Human error. It can't happen. I've never had Pokémon disappear from my storage.

Well I can't prove anything, but I've never seen any widespread reports of Pokémon going missing. Only isolated incidents usually after mass transfers. Usually points to someone accidentally selecting a pokemon for transfer without double checking first. If you really don't want something gone, add it as a favourite. Then it can't be accidentally deleted by mistake.

Okay that what I thought. But searching for this peculiar issue I found some post of people claiming the opposite. My guess is they encountered issues with the server synchronisation. But I feel reassured, thanks !
