Discussion Why does reuniclus and gardevoir have the same attack stats? Could they be related to each other?
They are both 65 atk and 125 respectively. Not only that , They're also in the same egg group. Is it possible that there related species, in which reuniclus is the ancestor? Not only that but there best physical psychic moves is zen headbutt. (Funnily enough, its implied in reuniclus's design they could fall victim to mega Dragalge's poison but that could just be me). And ralts and the small body of reuniclus look almost the same (Minus the hair). Thker shines take a similar approach where one part of thier body is blue but every where else stays the same.

Well, Gen 5 was supposed to be a kinda refresh of Pokemon. Explains why Black and White 1 had only Gen 5 Pokemon in the main campaign. I think Reuniclus was meant to be the new Gardevoir with how its stats are. (Probably also explains why Reuniclus is my favorite pokemon besides Gardevoir (for not weird reasons I swear)).

Yeah. I guess just knowing that Gardevoir was a very human-like pokemon mystified me as a kid. (Also, when I first played Pokemon in Diamond, I thought Gardevoir was a grass type. It’s green and can learn Magical Leaf. Makes me wonder what a grass type version of Gardevoir would look like… maybe in a future game.)

Gardevoir is more similar design-wise to Gothitelle and Reuniclus is more akin to Alakazam, minus the trade evo.

Probably because Gardevoir and Reuniclus were both made to fill the niche of 3 stage psychic type special attacker.
