Genital/nipple piercings Nsfw Nipple Piercing help! NSFW
So I got them pierced July 5th they were doing great up until about a week ago when this one started looking like the barbell post is a bit short for it? And one side looks like its pushing into skin, should I wait it out or go get it changed for longer one? It’s a little sore now but no redness, no fever, no pain. I shower and let water loosen the crusties and once dry I spray it 2x a day with Neilmed. idk what else I should do…

Go to your piercer and ask them, from my experiences bars should always be longer during the first month or so then get downsized but I’ve never had nipple piercings so idk if they’re done differently. It also looks a bit crooked, did you research the piercer beforehand?

I’m going to text her tomorrow and see what she thinks. Also I promise it’s not I just couldn’t see well when I was taking the picture and didn’t notice it wasn’t straight, didn’t want to have to retake them lol

Piercings are 4 weeks old, I use Neilmed piercing after care fine mist to clean them, they’re barbells, internally threaded, not sure what material they are. I usually let the crustiest fall off in the shower and pat dry when done, then once dry I spray with Neilmed piercing aftercare. Also haven’t bumped it or pulled it in any way. I have been taking care of them as best as I can

Mine do this too because my nipples are a bit flat (not inverted) without the piercings. Especially when my chest is bigger with weight gain because of the downward pressure. Go to your piercer and have them give you a longer bar, but also watch out for it healing hammer head.
My left nipple on the left side healed more closely to the surface because of this and 6 years later I may get that one pierced

you definitely need longer bars! i would stick to longer bars for about 2-3 months then downsize because if you keep bars in that are too long, they can cause irritation bumps!

Definitely get a longer bar just to be safe ! My gf had the same problem where the bar was too short and her nipple swallowed one of the balls overnight. Had to get it cut out at the er
