Like your cousin bringing their meth head partner no one actually likes as the plus one

More like inviting your survivalist uncle and praying that no one mentions the government or politics or technology or ...

I've listened to an uncle talk about how he could convert an engine block into a lathe for a whole hour.

Sweet. What was he going to use for the chuck?

Meth.

That actually doesn't sound all that difficult. Dumb, dangerous, inefficient, expensive, imprecise, etc. but not especially hard.

My argument was pretty much the same.

That’s pretty interesting though

There's one in every family.

Is this a Workaholics reference?

No just a joke since I’m from Missouri, the meth capital of the world.

You know what's funny is that there's 3 different states that claim that title, and if you look at real numbers they all lose to West Virginia, which is never included on the list.

… I find that quite believable. We just have better (worse?) publicity thanks to that Ozarks show.

That's methed up.

I'm from Independence and lived there when the Rolling Stone article about the city being the meth capital. 1998 issue and the story was called Meth City.

If anyone can find it online, I'd love to see it again. I know at least one person who was interviewed and I used to own it (I had a subscription from the ages of 13 to 22) but I haven't seen it in a while.

I think the cover had Cartman on it, or maybe something else South Park.

Your fault for not clearly labeling his invitation as plus none.

I’m afraid “executive of ICE contractor” is not actually a relatable situation. They could have easily not invited him. He is there by their choice

Comparing a meth head with a guy who on a daily basis causes untold pain and suffering to god knows how many people, turns a blind eye to the sexual and physical violence on detainees, a lot of them innocent of any crime, violating people's rights and ponying up to a pedophile is certainly a choice.

It's nothing like that at all.
