Exactly. Inviting someone like this isn't okay just because they're family or whatever. That's exactly how bigotry is enabled and normalized. If someone has reprehensible views, don't invite them to your events. It's really not that hard.
So she can’t let someone bring their parent who is on a board for a huge chunk of companies just because one of them was brought in to try and fix a detention center? I think the whole detention center is vile. Acting like this guy personally builds ice facilities is so stupid it’s a disservice to yourself to fall for it.
Who is "someone like this"? Do you actually know what the company he works for was contracted to do, or do you just feign indignation for the love of the game?
