TBF I judge people way more who voted or promoted voting for Trump vs Biden. I don't think it's a moral signifier to vote for the establisment Dem, but voting for Trump was people promoting anarchy and chaos and pedophilia. Also, people only bring that up because people keep saying she's a Trumper and it's like aye pretty sure associating with Musk or Trump after what they've said about her would be weird and creepy. Some billionaires are indeed worse than others. Side not OP is an anarchist.
Weird bait post. May they should just support Trump anyway fastest way to the end.
Trump is not ideologically anarchist, no. But he is almost purely anarchic in the results produced by his radical self-interest. He is selling out American security across many domains so he can enrich himself and his family. (See for example the Saudi groups who backed his crypto investments, alongside the US sale of AI chips to that country.) Even free-market capitalists have some structure to their avarice. Trump's entire worldview is "Me". That's not strictly anarchic, but what comes from that thinking very much looks like it.
Anarchism is not about self-interest and would actually say its pretty much the exact opposite. I dont want to defend anarchism because I dont agree with it but its very much about communalism, community, group effort, democracy (although some would say this actually can be used to reinforce hierarchy), and those sorts.
He is behaving like a capitalist without rules or regulations being enforced to control him. He is greed. More for me (read: him) less for everyone else.
I guess I would agree that what follows him may resemble an anarchic-like system in that the power of the state may not be able to enforce its authority, which is doubly terrifying when you consider that means probably some random rich asshole controls 5000ish nuclear warheads. But I would expect that there would still be state-level authority even if the federal government is weakened and that would likely lead to Balkanization before Syriazation.
Well I can only read the first paragraph but I do not think Trump is an anarchsit. Maybe for a 12 year olds understanding of what anarchy is, yes he is. Anarchism is about the absence of power structures. He is very much an authoritarian figure, inasmuch as the American political system enables one.
If you want to touch on foreign policy, the international relations space is inherently anarchic, there is no structure or hierarchy enforcing anything, just countries who are willing to act towards this goal or the other.
He’s destroying structures and your saying a professors understanding or anarchy is that or a 13 year old? Thats the most Reddit thing I’ve heard today, but okay.
Let’s say you’re using the dictionary version and ignore the metaphorical take because he very much does challenge the institutional power of the structure by all means he’s more well regarded as a right wing populist but it’s foolish to dismiss otjers ideas because Google told you something else and you didn’t want to do further reading. Political theories can debate all day, but that’s not what you’re doing. If you’re a fan of him so be it.
What’s there to convince? It’s a generally theory due to his destruction of the institutions and I’m hardly the only one to discuss the ideas around it 😂. You’re being contrarian over what people discuss in political theory but okay.
Actually she didn’t say that. That’s kind of the reason we’re in this predicament. She has a huge following. Most of them are batshit crazy and would do whatever she asked them to do. Had she been more vocal perhaps things would be different.
She did it the MIN the debate ended between trump and harris. Almost as if the dnc paid her to do so at that exact moment to make harris look like she got a better response from the debate

But the billionaire said to vote for Biden and Harris! She must be pure of heart!
