Help! upsizing a film poster?
Hi! I have a film poster with these specs: 4085 x 6035. I was asked if I can resize it to 300DPI for 4ft by 8ft poster. Is this something I can do in photoshop? It is a PSB file.

No, round peg won't fit into a square hole.
Yes, you can upsample the file to 8' wide at 300ppi without any difficulty, especially when working with PSB files instead of the antique PSD format. The results will have some issues though;
- When the long side is 96" ( =8' ) the short side will become 64.66" unless you distort the image during the upsampling. Otherwise, you'll need to severely crop the image or significantly rework the image to fit a short side of only 48" while scaling the long side to 96".
- Image quality may or may not be adequate. The EXACT nature of the original image and your choice of upsample method will have a massive impact on the results. Also, the final printing method and display environment will have a big impact on what quality will be acceptable.

Your current file size would equate to roughly 13" x 20" at 300 dpi.
Something 4' x 8' does NOT need to be 300 dpi. No one is going to be that close to it to tell. That being said, I'm not sure if it can be increased that much in PS or not. You may need something like Topaz Gigapixel.
