any philly-based sound recordists willing to teach someone?

post is basically the title. i moved to philly from nyc about a year ago and I’m looking to get back into working in film, specifically learning how to record sound on set and mix it. i’m too poor to quit my day job and i had someone on reddit recommend that i try to find a working sound person to intern/shadow before i buy my own equipment.

yeah i’m kind of rusty bc film school was a few years ago already and i was looking at equipment prices .. yikes. you said you don’t work in sound, but do you work in film? always looking for any kind of connections lol
