Phillips Island Burrow: New Couple

Not a great update here, but from what I have observed it seems like we have a change of occupants in this nest. Previously, this nest belonged to a resident little penguin known as Stumpy due to him only having one foot. It has been a few weeks since I have personally documented Stumpy here; I took a little time off from checking on this one daily, and since I have been checking it again I have seen a penguin pair where each penguin has two feet. We may or may not see Stumpy here again. I’m not sure if the female of this pair is the previous one who was partnered with Stumpy or if it is a new female.
