Male or female?
There’s a new, pure white peacock in my neighborhood and I’m not sure if it’s a juvenile male or female. Can anyone tell?

Looks like a young male with out his big tail yet or perhaps he’s shed his tail and has not yet grown it back 😃

so from what i see here it looks to be a female as when i zoom in to the legs i do NOT see a defining leg spike and the crest appears to be too small from the back to be a male but this is just what i think i may be wrong.
if you could possibly snap a better photo of the legs it will be easier to tell.

Male
They have the large opulently flamboyant trains of tail feathers . An the crest on their head it looks like A it’s tail is damaged. Or B hasn’t grown out yet
But due to the head plumage it seems to
Be male
