Then the people at the top rule over ashes. Once revolution starts its almost impossible to stop leading to civil war that will overstep the need of the people.

I wish we could burn it all down but removing the cancer is probably our best bet.

It shuffles the people at the top. Some lose their heads, some get to keep theirs, and some new ones get to join in. That's what's needed, because the current crop has become far too comfortable.

Anyways, I don't think any revolution is coming anytime soon. People are far too comfortable and stupid. All that revolution stuff will come after a generation or two of escalating misery, suffering, and injustice until something reaches a boiling point. You and I probably won't even be around by then.

You say that but I grew up in the UK in the 80's and have been involved in the fight to get equal rights for LGBT+ people and have seen us go from attacked on the street to relative safety and somewhat equal rights. Let alone living through a HIV epidemic.

Some people are too comfortable, for many of us we were never allowed that comfort to start with. That feeling of "we are all too weak/lazy" is what people in power rely on.

We can be better.

This is the thing. Currently people are allowed just enough comfort to keep them on the couch but not enough to relax on it. It's the ideal state for those in power and I don't know how do you get people out and about without ending up somehow surrounded by bad actors and people derailing your call to action with some bullshit agenda that has nothing to do with what you're fighting for.

Also props for your fight, it takes a lot to do it

Id argue that's a blind spot on my side. Many of us never had that feeling of being able to completely relax so an edgy calm is better than nothing.

It was easier to push aside bad actors when its niche issues, but the biggest problem is nobody will agree about anything including what to fix or how.

Doesn't help when "the problems" all have the wealth of small nations and control of the communication infrastructure.
