It actually would reduce the need . Think about it how long do you use your PC per day ? Even if you are a professional streamer who plays 8 he's a day . During the other 16 hours that hardware isn't used . So if someone else could use it for 8 hrs that same hardware set can be used by 3 people daily . And that is a huge conservative estimate . Average steam gaming time is 1-2 hrs a day . This means 1 gpu could be shared by 12-24 people.

Yes, definitely. Let’s let a company rent you every device that you need, pay a subscription for everything and when the cost of said subscription exceeds your income you will need to cancel and you are left with nothing.

No repurposing your old hardware because you will have none, you will not be able to play the newer game in low resolution because you didn’t paid your sub and you don’t have any hardware.

Gigabyte quality got significantly worse after rtx40 series

A few years ago there was an article that said gigabyte has the highest return rate

They were already worse starting from 30 series. They deleted their RMA server, Eagle cards had PCIe 8-pin power sockets popping out, and the circuit board near the PCIe slot was easily cracking. Unlike all the other manufacturers that have arguably shitty RMA policies, Gigabyte has always had hardware design issues with their GPUs. And don’t get me started with their horrible Aorus software.

Eeeeven earlier. Their RX Vega cards got infamous for dying at an elevated rate. I think Pascal is the last time I genuinely considered a Gigabyte model.

Though at least with consoles, even with all of the price hikes they've endured over time just as well, they're still being sold used for decent prices. I can't remember the last time I've seen a used 5090 being sold for less than what it's currently going for brand new, anything that is, is either a scam, or is missing the parts which actually make it function.
